Open call for curator’s residency in ISCP New York
ECADC offers a 2-month studio grant for an Estonian curator to work independently in ISCP’s studio building in Brooklyn, New York. ECADC covers flight, accommodation, and a stipend for living costs.
ISCP is a leading non-profit, residency-based contemporary art institution for emerging to mid-career artists and curators from around the world. ISCP residency includes 24-hour access to a private 18 sq meter furnished studio space, regular studio visits from Visiting Critics; Field Trips to museums, galleries and other cultural institutions; and participation in ISCP Talks. Residents at ISCP are also invited to take part in ISCP’s Exhibition Program and Participatory Projects.
Applications to the residency are accepted online at iscp@ecadc.ee until 1 March, 2016. To apply, please submit:
– a statement discussing how ISCP-ECADC residency would contribute to the development of your curatorial practice
– documentation of projects curated during the last 3 years (pdf with 10 jpegs or link to online portfolio)
– CV (including contact details of 2 referees)
All the required materials should be submitted in English. Applications will be assessed by an International Jury appointed by ECADC.
ISCP-ECADC residency is scheduled from 1st October through 30th November, 2016, and open for applications from both institutional and independent curators.
