Come check out new publications by Lugemik publishing house at the New York Art Book fair, join us for a talk with Tõnis Saadoja and Indrek Sirkel moderated by Niels van Tomme or head to Tallinn for a Photomonth.

NEW YORK ART BOOK FAIR
Tallinn-based Lugemik publishing house will be participating in the New York Art Book Fair for the first time with six new publications. They will join more than 250 other publishers at the 3-day premier event for artists’ books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines. If you’re in town, mark your calendars for the fair’s opening on Thursday, September 19th from 6-9pm at MoMA PS1. Also be sure to join us on September 20th at the Oracle Club when the BIOEST festival hosts a talk with publisher Indrek Sirkel and artist Tõnis Saadoja moderated by NY-based curator Niels van Tomme

GALLERY INTERNSHIPS
ECADC is sending out a second round of young professionals to galleries in Berlin and London this September through December. Merilin Talumaa is joining the team of Carlier Gebauer and Tiina Määrmann will join Schleicher / Lange Gallery, while Tom Cole and Hollybush Gardens in London will welcome Sandra Veinla for a 3-month internship this October.

PHOTOMONTH
Tallinn Photomonth will kick off with a group show “Shadows of a Doubt” curated by Niekolaas Lekkerkerk at Tallinn Arthall on October 2nd. The exhibition features works by 17 international artists engaging with the conditions and experience of the present moment. The Photomonth main program runs until October 27th and includes the exhibition “Where You End, I Begin” at Tartu Art House curated by Anneli Porri as well as the Photographic Art Fair opening on October 24th.

NEWS:
Merike Estna’s first solo exhibition “spinach and banana” is open at Winkleman Gallery until October 12th. It is certainly a busy fall for the artist as she also installed a solo presentation at ArtInternational art fair in Istanbul with her home gallery of Temnikova & Kasela. Merike will return to the US once again for a solo presentation at NADA Miami in December after finishing a commission for Viljandi Gymnasium in Southern Estonia and completing a residency in India.
