Krista Mölder and Sigrid Viir in Paris
Artists Krista Mölder and Sigrid Viir of Temnikova & Kasela gallery have been invited to participate in the 2017 edition of Circulation(s). The festival is devoted to the diversity of photography as a medium and introduces emerging photographers to wider audience. Kristal Mölder will be exhibiting ‘You/Blue’ (2015), and Sigrid Viir her recent photo-series ‘Awful Pretty Pipe Neck’ (2016).

Kris Lemsalu in Ghent
At the end of January Tatjana Pieters gallery in Ghent, Belgium, will be opening a group of show featuring the artists Kris Lemsalu, John Finneran (US), and Lisa Vlaemminick (BE). Titled ‘Full Moon in Leo’, the exhibition includes Kris Lemsalu’s work specially commissioned for the exhibition as well as her series ‘Blanket’ (2016), recently exhibited at Tallinn Art Hall.

Rupert in Vilnius, Lithuania
Merike Estna and Hanna Laura Kaljo in Vilnius
Artist Merike Estna and curator Hanna Laura Kaljo have been admitted to Rupert’s residency program in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a knowledge-based platform, Rupert enables its residents to develop their individual projects by providing them with a production and research space as well as the invaluable opportunity for collaborative education.

Marge Monko in Antwerp
For the first half of 2017 the Braakland (Fallow Fields) initiative has transformed Fotomuseum Antwerp (FOMU) into an experimental workspace for photography. Artists Marge Monko and Katrin Kamaru (DE) will participate in the festival with their collaborative project ‘Gevaert as Image’, which started a few years ago with the artists’ research into the archives of Agfa-Gevaert, a corporation that manufactures analogue and digital imaging products.

Anu Vahtra in Norway
On the invitation of the curator of Tromsø Kunstforening, Leif Magne Tangen, artist Anu Vahtra will be participating in a short-term residency of High North A-I-R Network in Northern Norway. With the support of Kulturkontakt Nord, she will be residing at a Troms Fylkeskommune studio throughout the month of January.

Publishing initiative Lugemik at CAC, Vilnius, in 2015
Lugemik in CAC, Vilnius
Indrek Sirkel and Laura Toots of the publishing initiative Lugemik will be participating in a 10-day residency at Contemporary Arts Centre (CAC), Vilnius. Lugemik will be continuing their work on Too Good to be Photographed, a book by the Lithuanian photographer and theorist Paul Paper, while also beginning prepariations for their forthcoming books by Lithuanian artists Antanas Gerlikas, Laura Kaminskaitė, and Žilvinas Landzbergas.
